Salesforce.com is committed to providing exceptional training experiences to customers; a key element of our success is the quality of the certified instructors who deliver this training.
This code of conduct articulates the rules regarding certified instructor behavior and practices whilst delivering training on behalf of salesforce.com. All certified instructors must adhere to this code of conduct if they wish to maintain their certified instructor credential.
Appearance
Professional dress and demeanor is required at all times. Although suit/tie are not required, professional, business casual attire is required; specifically, jeans and trainers (running/tennis shoes) are never appropriate.
Communication
Professional and appropriate speech is required at all times. Any derogatory comments (verbal or written) about Salesforce.com as a company, Salesforce.com products, Salesforce.com partners or Salesforce.com services will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
Any information shared during instructor meetings or as part of or in relation to the Training & Certification Org is strictly confidential and should not be discussed outside the Training & Certification community unless explicitly stated.
Socialization
If you opt to socialize with attendees/customers, please use good judgment with regards to alcohol consumption. Always remember that you represent salesforce.com in these situations and you should avoid any unprofessional behavior in social situations with customers.
Certification
You may only deliver courses for which you hold an instructor certification and the relevant product certifications. Instructors delivering courses (even portions of courses as part of a combination private workshop) that they are not certified to teach risk having their Certified Instructor Certification revoked.
If you are asked to deliver a course that you are not certified to teach, it is your responsibility to refuse and notify the person requesting that you are not certified to teach that course and thus, cannot agree to deliver it. Any questions should be directed to Christina Major.

  • Only assist attendees at the instructor’s request
